The High Atlas Villages
PHOTOS
In
April 2003, one Free Lens TV crew travelled in the High-Atlas mountains
to produce a 26 minutes documentary about the forgotten villages of
this wonderful region of Morocco. No roads to move from one village to
the other. The only solution: Donkeys. 4 donkeys to carry shooting
equipment, water and food. To minimise weight we shotted in DV Cam with
the wonderful Sony PD 150. Equiped with all accessories (wide angle,
wireless sound...) we have the best solutions for such a crazy trip.

In the High Atlas Mountain

Travelling in the
high valleys was one extraordinary experience. Between 4 and 6 hours
per day on these little pists. No engine noise... only the wind in
oasis... a dream.

When we arrived in villages, children welcomed us with songs and dances from the berbčre traditions.
The Berbere hospitality is not a legend! Music, tea and pancakes... the best welcome present in such an arm region!
